Policies and Guidelines
The following policies have been developed to create a pleasant and safe environment for all owners and occupants of units at Rolling Hills Resort.
All persons renting or leasing an RV site or cabin shall agree to abide by the following policies:
Occupancy
No person renting an RV site or cabin shall permit any person or pet to occupy their site or cabin other than the listed persons of the rental agreement, except guests or visitors.
Guest/Visitor Policy
Guests are allowed to visit renters of the site only when at least one owner of the site/unit is present. “Guest" is defined as anyone who does not live with you full-time. The number of guests shall be limited to 2 (two) persons and their dependent children, unless additional guests have been approved each time by resort management. Guests are not allowed to bring pets.
Visitor Policy
All visitors (including children and adults) visiting our guests any part of the day will be charged $10.00 per visitor day charge and $15.00 for overnight guests. All visitors need to be approved by resort management.
Our current guests who have a RV or rent cabins with us, are the responsible parties for the charges per your visitors.
The resort management reserves the right to limit the number of visitors. Pets brought by visitors are not allowed, unless approved by management.
Quiet Time
Our guests come to our resorts for many reasons, but one reason is for some peace and quiet. We would like the resort to have minimum noise, which means no loud noises, blasting radios, or music coming from any other equipment. You may use your radios or other forms of entertainment, but please keep this to a minimum. Make sure all forms of noise be off or lowered between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM every day.
Motorized Vehicle Policy
We do not allow ATVs, UTVs, Motorcycles, scooters or any other motorized machines to be driven around the resort grounds. They may be driven to and from the resort in a safe and courteous manner. Any use of these types of motorized vehicles has to be approved by management.
Personal Watercraft
Jet Skies etc. are not allowed to be used on Smith Lake from the resort property. Personal watercraft may be kept on a trailer and taken to another lake for use.
Tent Policy
We do not allow the use of tents at the resort at any time.
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed only with prior approval from Resort management. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN CABINS. We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behaviors, including, but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease or defecation in public areas regardless of prior approval. Guests with animals are responsible for all charges related to the removal of their pet or any damage that your pet may have caused. Pets must be under control at all times and are not allowed to run free. They must be kenneled, caged, or firmly held on a leash when they are in all common areas of the resort. PET WASTE MUST BE CLEANED UP IMMEDIATELY. If your pet will be joining you often, management has the option of charging you additional fees. Management at any time may require you to show shot records. Visitors are NOT allowed to bring pets to the resort.
Plants, Trees, and Shrubs Policy
Potted plants or shrubs in a container or pot not buried in the ground may be removed. Any plants, trees or shrubs that have been planted in the ground may not be dug up or removed without expressed permission from the resort management. The planting of plants, trees, shrubs etc., requires prior approval from the resort management. Wipes (any type of wipes) are NOT to be flushed down toilets; they are to be disposed of in the trash.
Firearms and Fireworks Policy
The discharging of firearms is not allowed except with permission from Resort management. Fireworks are not allowed to be used on resort grounds unless approved by Resort management.
